In-Office Teeth Whitening

The in-office whitening appointment takes approximately 60-90 minutes. Higher concentrations of whitening products are available for use with in-office whitening versus other whitening methods because the surrounding tissues are covered and protected from the whitening agent. Our dental office uses Opalescence Boost, a chemically activated 40% hydrogen peroxide whitening gel. After the in-office whitening procedure, the patient also receives custom whitening trays and at home Pola-Day 9.5% Hydrogen Peroxide whitening gel for maintenance. Clinical results vary, depending on the intrinsic color of your teeth.

At-Home Teeth Whitening

After taking impressions of your teeth, custom whitening trays that conform to your teeth are fabricated. Patients are given the custom trays, whitening instructions and 3 tubes of Pola Day 9.5% Hydrogen Peroxide Gel for whitening at home until desired result is achieved. Clinical results vary, depending on the intrinsic color of your teeth.
